Localizado numa zona rural no interior do país, esta pequena intervenção procurou refletir sobre algumas características morfológicas e tectónicas da região, com o assumido objetivo da sua integração no contexto da povoação.
A sua função remete para a necessidade ancestral da arquitetura: Abrigar.
O clima de extremos da região assim o obriga. Com temperaturas acima dos 40ºC no verão e fortes geadas no inverno 
A casa existente é utilizada como segunda habitação nos períodos de férias e o dono de obra pretendia um abrigo para as viaturas.
Uma estrutura simples com duas águas, telha cerâmica e pedra local definem uma cobertura que cumpre a sua função. 

Located at a rural area from eastern Portugal, this intervention began researching both morphological and techtonic aspects from the region, with the intention of developing a stucture related with the surroundings.
The functional evoke a basic need from architecture: Provide shelter.
This region has a radical climate. During summer temperatures get above 40ºC whilst during winter it is struck with frost.
The existing house is inhabited during holiday seasons and the owner needed as shelter for cars.
A sloped roof on a basic struture, ceramic tiles and local stone create follow the function.
