O cliente pretendia uma cozinha com uma imagem contemporânea onde através da forma e materialidade se conseguisse ter mais luz natural. Propôs-se demolir a despensa preexistente de modo a ter mais área e facilitando a integração dos novos equipamentos. O espaço da cozinha está ligado ao espaço de refeições no entanto funcionam como espaços independentes. Mantiveram-se os revestimentos das paredes e tectos e introduziu-se um pavimento novo em cimento afagado. O mobiliário de cozinha introduz tons sóbrios e sem brilho com a intenção de trazer mais iluminação ao espaço. A madeira relaciona-se com as portas preexistentes e com o novo mobiliário, equilibrando com a forra das bancadas em Calacatta.

The client intended a contemporay kitchen where shape and materiality could bring more natural light into space. It was proposed do demolish the pre-existing pantry in a way that more room was achived and allowing an easy setting-out for the new equipments. The kitchen area is connected with the dining area despite being used independently. The finishes on the walls and ceiling were kept and a new polished concrete floor was introduced. The kitchen furniture with sober and matte colours bring more light into the space. Various parts in timber relate to preexisting doors and the dining area new furniture, balancing with the Calacatta in the backwash.
